The Sewing Sisters

The Sewing Sisters meet In the parsonage from 9-11 a.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

We work on quilts, lap robes and pillows for local nursing homes and the Guadalupe Valley Family Violence Shelter in Seguin.  When women and children come to the shelter, they come with nothing, and a small quilt or pillow might be of some comfort.  It has also been suggested to make small, simple stuffed animals.

All ladies and men (if they wish) are invited.  You do not have to know how to sew as there will be many jobs; pressing fabric, cutting, tying, stuffing, etc.  It is a fun time of working, visiting and sharing.

Each one has a special talent, and if yours is using your hands in this way, this is a great opportunity to share God's love.

We invite any and all ladies to join the group!!
